FASHIONAINA is a blog that I've been reading for a few years now (wow, time flies!) and is always a source of inspiration for me when it comes to fashion, travel, and cooking! I had the pleasure of chatting with Sunaina (who is among one of my dearest "blogging" friends!) about her latest baking venture, her embarking on veganism, and her love (and hate) for the latest trends!

How would you describe your personal style?
My style has a little bit of everything, I would describe it as a fusion of girly and bohemian, yet sophistocated. I love to keep it simple with neutrals but I can a be a bit edgy too. Furthermore, I love everything floral and all-black outfits.

Tell us about Cupcake Kitchen:
Cupcake Kitchen is a little business I set up a few months ago. It started out as a hobby, I always loved baking and along the way I developed a love for cupcakes. When people took more interest in my cupcakes I decided to pull the trigger and Cupcake Kitchen was born. Next to school and my office job, I work four days a week in Cupcake Kitchen. I would love to become a real business woman but on the other hand I think I’d rather like te become a ‘cupcake queen’. Who knows where the road will lead me!

You're embarking on a 30-day vegan challenge. What parts of the challenge are you looking forward to? What are you nervous about? What kinds of recipes are you excited to try?
I wanted to do this challenge because I want to get healthier, cleanse myself and lose the holiday pounds. I’m in my first week now and looking forward to the day that I feel detoxified, this takes some time but the feeling will be so good! It’s also nice to experiment with foods I don’t usually use a lot. I’m excited to try out new recipes like zucchini frittata (click here for recipe), tofu quiches (click here for recipe) and date-nut slices (click here for recipe). I’m a bit nervous about my cheese cravings. I love cheese and I’m afraid I can’t last a whole month without it. But I’m definitely going to give it my best shot and I promised myself to not break the rules.

What fashion trends are you excited to try for fall?
What trends do you dislike?
I love the leather trend but I wouldn’t go for a total leather look. I would rather wear one or two leather items combined with softer fabrics. I also like the fur trend, it keeps you warm and looks chic. I’m excited to combine leather with fur but still stay chic. When it comes to colours, I don’t really like the bright hues, I might try out orange and purple but I think that wine red would suit me better. About patterns: I’ve never been into animal prints but I do like classic plaid. I will wear floral as I always do. I absolutely dislike androgyny, I think it’s difficult to pull off this trend and I wouldn’t like to look mannish. Another thing I do like is chunky knitwear, obviously it’s perfect winter material.

Which blogs do you visit often?
To keep myself updated on fashion and get the most useful fashion tips, I visit your blog. For all things pretty and daily luxuries I regularly visit Being Dena. For fashion, beauty and design inspiration, Think Runway is the place to be. For make up tutorials, creativity and more personal stuff I visit Makeup and Jeans. I also love to visit Mon Mode Blog, but unfortunately the girl has been MIA for a while now. I hope she’ll be back!

What does your beauty routine consist of?
My daily beauty routine is actually very simple. I just put on mascara, sometimes some blush and a little bit of lip gloss. I do iron or curl my hair every two days and once a week I occupy the bathroom for hours and pamper myself with things like clay masks, a hot bubbly bath, exfoliation and a hair treatment.
